what 25 years in healthcare taught me about people

From the floors of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to the offices of Johnson and Johnson, to the hallways of a New Jersey prep school, I have spent 25 years showing up for people in all kinds of rooms.

And after 25 years, here is the one thing that has never changed in any room I have ever walked into:

People just want to feel seen.

Not fixed. Not advised. Not handed a plan.

Seen.

The teen sitting in my office at school is not so different from the patient I cared for at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia decades ago. They both want someone to stop moving long enough to actually look at them. To say -- I hear you. And I am right here.

I did not become a life coach because I got tired of healthcare.

I became a life coach because healthcare kept showing me the same thing over and over again: the clinical piece matters, but the human piece is everything.

You can have the best treatment plan in the world. The most efficient system. The most perfectly designed process. And none of it works if the person in front of you does not feel safe enough to trust you.

That is what I have been building my whole career, in every role I have ever held. Not just expertise. Trust.

And now, with Carin Rassier Coaching, I get to do that in its purest form.

No charts. No compliance requirements. Just a real conversation with a real person about what they actually want, what is getting in the way, and what one next step might look like.

If you are a parent who loves their kid fiercely but does not know how to reach them, or a young adult who knows something needs to change but cannot figure out what, I want you to know -- this is exactly the work I was built for.

25+ years in the making.

I am just getting started.

If you are ready to feel seen -- really seen -- and you want support figuring out your next step without doing it alone, I am here.
